23 September 2016 Last updated at 14:12 BST Demonstrators and police have hugged and shaken hands with members of the National Guard during a night of protest in Charlotte, North Carolina. This was the third night of protests in the city, and the second with the National Guard on the streets, following the killing of Keith Lamont Scott on Tuesday.
