The mother of a baby who died from treatable blood poisoning has made an emotional video calling for more awareness of the condition.
Melissa Mead, from Penryn, Cornwall, lost twelve-month-old William to sepsis on 14 December 2014.
The cause of death was put down to natural causes, but a coroners inquest in June 2015 found he had died from treatable blood poisoning - known as septicaemia - caused by a long-standing chest infection.
In the video Mrs Mead shares information about how common sepsis is and how William will not get to meet his baby sibling, due this month.
